The pilot bust is a commercial product, available
here in the UK from Dave Banks, who produces
a range of pilots in various scales. They are
moulded from expanded foam and have a hard outer
shell.
Pete has hollowed out the interior of his pilot
to save a little weight, and did a wonderful
job painting it.
