The back end of the fuselage stick was reinforced the
same way to accept a loop of fishing line, which gives
me something to pull on for the catapult launch.

The tail was cut from sheets of 1/32” balsa, sanded down
to less than half of the original thickness. I chose to install
the RFFS-100 actuators into the control surfaces as per instructions,
using rubber band as hinging material. In retrospect I sanded
them down a bit too thin, but it hasn’t caused any major
problems yet. |

The wing is in three sections, forming a polyhedral. I made
the tips from the same 1/32 sheet that I used for the tail.
I sanded them down to be extremely thin at the tips, graduating
to a full 1/32 at the center of the root. |
